Survey Fees

Surveying allyway

Building surveys will sometimes be undertaken free of charge while a contractor is forming a quote for a job. However a company that undertakes a full and detailed inspection will charge a survey fee.

You can expect to be charged for a building survey undertaken by a member of the Property Care Association, but you can be confident that the survey will be completed in a competent manner, by a fully qualified professional.

A written report will be produced, giving information about the company, its credentials and contact details. It will include:

  • Diagnosis of the problem
  • Remedial options
  • Costs for undertaking the work
  • Guarantees and insurances appropriate to the work

How much can I expect to pay?

The survey fee will vary according to the type of survey carried out.

The figures below are only provided as a guide. Different companies may use different methods to determine their prices.
