Basement Conversions under the Spotlight in PCA Magazine

Basement conversions take prominence in the latest issue of a new magazine aimed at professionals in the property world, launched by a leading trade organisation.

The Property Care Association (PCA), the trade body for the building preservation agency, issued the first edition of the full colour quarterly magazine Property Care in the spring.

The latest issue, due out at the end of June, will carry an in-depth report on basement conversions.

The information complements a free web-based resource centre for basement conversions developed by the PCA earlier this year – http://www.property-care.org/basement-conversions.

Pulling together a wealth of information online, including in-depth technical background data, case studies, a short video and images, the facility has already received thousands of visitors.

With a print run of 3,000 copies, Property Care magazine – published by Peterborough-based Gildenburgh - targets property industry specifiers including architects, legal and insurance professionals, local authority officers, property managers, surveyors and estate agents.

Yasmin Chopin, executive director of the PCA, said: “We were really pleased with the response to the first edition and are looking forward to getting this second edition published.”

Property professionals can access a free copy of the magazine by registering at http://www.property-care.org/property-professionals

The Property Care Association represents the UK’s structural waterproofing, wood preservation, damp-proofing, flood remediation and structural repair sectors.
