Technical training in damp proofing and timber treatment skills is being offered by experts at the Property Care Association, the trade body for building preservation.
The Technicians’ Training Course is a one and a half day course, with an optional exam held on the afternoon of the second day.
Held at the PCA’s centrally located training venue in Northampton, the course takes place on October 29 and 30.
Topics covered include the installation of damp proof courses, health and safety and pressure injection. The timber treatment section looks at wood boring insects and wet and dry rot.
