An opportunity to learn more about timber resin repair techniques is on offer from the Property Care Association, the trade body for building preservation.
The training is in response to an increase in contractors carrying out specialist timber resin repair work.
Attendees will learn how repairs can be carried out ‘in-situ,’ without the need to ‘scrap and replace’ timber – a particularly useful process for historic and older buildings.
A one day course, the training is being held at the PCA’s Northampton training centre on November 6, 2008.
Further information on PCA courses is available on the association’s website at http://www.property-care.org/training-events/training-courses
