Structural Waterproofing One Day Update Course
BS8102 Waterproofing Regulations
The revision of BS8102 Waterproofing Regulations recognised the need for a Waterproofing Specialist within a Design Team and also emphasised the need to understand site evaluation and the suitability, performance and benefits of the Type A, B & C waterproofing systems.
Who is this training for?
This has been developed for those who have already attended the PCA Structural Waterproofing Course and subsequently sat the CSSW examination prior to the changes and revisions that were successfully introduced in 2015. This training will help them to continue to update their knowledge.
It is suitable training for anyone working in this field as professionals need to make sure their knowledge is fully up to date on all changes.
How is the training structured?
A one day interactive workshop which is delivered at the PCA practical training facility. Questions and discussion of recent changes to BS8102 Waterproofing Regulations, current knowledge and improved practices is actively encouraged.
The course provides updates on new technologies and innovations etc as well as an update on what is considered good general practice.
Specialist tutors will look at matters relating to Type A & B waterproofing as well as concrete. They will also provide updates on matters relating to Type C systems and general developments made in the sector.
Attending the course will provide 6 hours of credits for those participating in PCA and other CPD schemes.
The course will be delivered at the PCA Practical Training Centre (Unit 2, Tower Square, St Peter’s Road, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE29 6FY).
