There are several different types of PCA membership you can choose from depending on the type of company, organisation or individual you are, along with the sector experience you have.

Contractor Membership

A company providing services to the domestic and/or commercial market within the sectors represented by the Property Care Association (Damp-proofing, Timber Preservation, Structural Waterproofing, Invasive Weed Control, Structural Maintenance and Flood Remediation).

Provisional Status - Contractor Membership

Contractor based companies in ‘Provisional Status’ of the Property Care Association are those who wish to be affiliated with the main 'Contractor Membership' status of the Association, but initially do not meet all the membership criteria yet.

Independent/ Freelance Surveyor & Consultant

An Independent Surveyor is an individual who offers a specialist surveying service but do not undertake any building preservation/remedial or invasive weed control work. For further information, please click below.

A manufacturer/distributor member is a company manufacturing and/or distributing products used by contractors within the sectors represented by the PCA.

Ground Gas Verifier

For practitioners who are involved in the independent testing and verification of ground gas protection measures installed by others.  Such third-party verifiers will assess the nature of the gas protection system, the quality of the products used and the competence and quality of the installation to ensure the prevention of harmful ground gases from entering buildings.

Associate Membership

An Associate of the PCA is someone who wishes to have involvement with the PCA and support the aims and objectives but does not actively work in the designated PCA trade sectors in the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands.
