Representing members

Last week saw Technical Manager James Berry representing PCA members at 3 live events:

  • The Independent Surveyors and Valuers Association (ISVA) conference - presented to 70+ surveyors on the Joint Position Statement. A great opportunity to share the PCA's expertise and knowledge to a new audience
  • RPSA's Open Day - a very engaging event. The format enabled interaction with delegates at length (not just in refreshment breaks) and James spoke with a huge range of surveyors (100+)
  • The Ground Engineering: Basements and Underground Structures conference - the world of basements presented from a difference perspective. Encouraging to see sustainability being designed in at high level, from materials, to electrical piling and excavation equipment... something we would love to see PCA members embracing too.

Hopefully these, and further events on the schedule, are signs that following the pandemic things are very much getting back to normality.

Next webinar - Identifying Flood Resilience Measures

**2 weeks to go** until our next LIVE webinar, which focuses on 'Identifying & Surveying a Building with Flood Resilience Measures'. What should surveyors/building professionals be considering, looking at and reporting on? And what should be part of your initial inspection when you come across buildings/properties with resilience measures?

Join us and John Alexander from Aquobex on Thursday 27th October 2022 from 9-10am, as we go into detail on evaluating buildings that have flood resilience measures in place. To find out the answers and to learn much more, simply click on the button below.
