Apprenticeship Scheme Fees
All costs are per candidate and cover full participation in the scheme for the eighteen months, as well as the assessment and award of the NVQ.
Fees include all training, refreshments and documentation, as well as disposable PPE for use when training. Employers are expected to supply their apprentices with safety boots, gloves and face-fit masks.
Total fees for the Apprenticeship are £6,500 (ex vat).
If eligible, companies can claim CITB grant funding towards the costs of the apprenticeship up to £5,250.
For those eligible for grant funding the following breakdown would apply:
The cost of the apprenticeship is £6,500 + VAT.
The total grant funding available (subject to eligibility) is £5,250.
The amount you pay to the PCA is £2,500 + VAT.
The £5,250 of grant funding is made up of:
- £4,000 grant paid directly to PCA from CITB
- £650 grant paid to you from CITB on completion of modules
- £600 grant paid to you from CITB on completion of NVQ
As a business you will receive £1,250 total grant funding from CITB, making your investment in your apprentice £1,250 (excluding time, accommodation and petrol).
