Apprenticeship Scheme Fees

All costs are per candidate and cover full participation in the scheme for the two years, as well as the assessment and award of the NVQ.

Fees include all training, refreshments and documentation, as well as disposable PPE for use when training.  Employers are expected to supply their apprentices with safety boots, gloves and face-fit masks.

Total fees for the Apprenticeship are £6,500 (ex vat).

Over a 24 month apprenticeship, that equates to just £270.83 p/mth or £67.70 p/wk.

If eligible, companies can claim grant funding towards the costs of the apprenticeship up to £7,650.

Payment options available for PCA Members

Below are examples of payment plan options that are exclusively available to PCA members (all figures shown are exclusive of vat).

Option 1

Initial payment                                                                            £1,000

20 monthly payments by direct debit* of £255.                     £5,500

Total Fees                                                                                  £6,500


Option 2

Initial lump sum payment                                                        £3,250

Then there is nothing further to pay for the first year.

12 monthly payments by direct debit* of £250                   £3,250

*An additional 3% fee will be charged for direct debit payments.
