Launch of 3rd Online Surveyors Training!

We are delighted to announce the launch of our newest online training! The 3rd in our suite of online courses for surveyors will provide candidates with the essential knowledge and skills required when surveying and managing Japanese knotweed. And just like our other courses, it is broken down into two main modules and delivered through a mixture of live sessions and pre-recorded videos. What's more, the course can also be used as a foundation study for the Certificated Surveyor in Japanese knotweed (CSJK) examination. We were pleased to welcome back cohort 3 of our Waterproofing Apprenticeship this week, as they continue their learning journey with us. We are now taking bookings for our next intake of apprentices for both the Damp & Timber and Structural Waterproofing schemes:

White Horse Surveyors Conference

Last week Technical Manager James Berry spoke at White Horse Surveyors Annual Conference in Swindon covering a wide range of topics in the presentation, including an introduction to timber defects and the latest damp issues facing the industry. Speaker opportunities such as this have been limited for obvious reasons, but it was great to meet up with like-minded property professionals and promote the PCA. We look forward to hopefully speaking at more events again in the near future...

Updated CLC Face Covering Guidance

The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has updated their statement on the use of face coverings in construction during coronavirus to help provide a consistent approach across the industry. It is based on Government guidance in England and other restrictions and advice may apply in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. A NEW Online H&S tool has recently been launched that may be of interest to you. HSE's new Safety Climate Tool helps deliver an objective measure of safety culture in organisations, exploring employees’ attitudes and perceptions in key areas of health and safety, whilst guaranteeing anonymity.
