PCA attends L&G conference

Last Friday the PCA team were delighted to be asked to support the Legal & General surveyors conference as their guests. The event, held at the National Space Centre in Leicester, was well attended and we were made to feel very welcome. The events programme featured a number of very interesting speakers including Right Move, who gave a particularly interesting report on their expectations for the housing market in 2022. Using incredibly detailed analytics, they predict markets will remain very active with house prices continuing to rise, despite cost of living increases. It was conceded that there is a great many events that could knock these optimistic predictions off course, but the take home message was pretty positive. CEO Steve Hodgson touched on this issue some weeks back in his 'Hodgson View' and the irreversible damage this will have on our homes, our health and our wellbeing.
