About the presenter – Max Wade

Max is known nationally and internationally for his work in ecological appraisals and management, especially in aquatic systems and the invasion of non-native plants and animals. He has authored manuals and field guides and advises on the assessment of ecological function and gain in the urban environment. Max was Professor of Ecology and Head of the Environmental Sciences Department at the University of Hertfordshire. He is currently a Technical Director with AECOM and the President of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.

The PCA’s ongoing drive for best practise

Working with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) – supported by the Council of Mortgage Lenders and The Building Societies Association, the Property Care Association set up the Invasive Weed Control Group in back in 2012 with it still going strong today.
