PCA Member Job - Building/Quantity Surveyor

Acres Building Consultants is a Redhill firm of Chartered Building Surveyors providing a range of built environment services for commercial, industrial, retail and residential sectors.

Requirements/Experience

In order to be successful in this role, you must have:

• Technical skills related to building construction and surveying
• Advanced knowledge of building regulations, safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Experience in diagnosing housing disrepair and building defects
• Ability to produce high-quality written reports in a timely and efficient manner and in line with CPR35

And be:

• Organised and have outstanding attention to detail
• A confident communicator with the ability to communicate positively and clearly, liaising with clients, developers, architects and engineers
• Computer literate with a good understanding of MS Word and Excel 
• Willing to learn
• Able to work proactively with minimal supervision
• An excellent team player who enjoys being part of a small team
• Experience with social housing and public sector clients is a plus.
