Essex and Anglia Preservation Ltd is a small, exciting, family run business, established in the specialist damp proofing and timber preservation industry for over 60 years. We comprehensively and successfully treat private, commercial, public sector and housing association properties throughout Essex and London.

Due to a growing demand for expertise, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Damp and Timber Surveyor to join our friendly team.

Must have practical experience in the damp proofing industry and have achieved, or are working towards, CSRT or CSTDB qualification (CSSW would be a big advantage but not essential).

Roles & Responsibilities

Position Title & Location: Damp & Timber Surveyor, located at the Chelmsford office, covering Essex and London

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out damp and timber surveys
Preparing reports / quotations
Liaising with customers
Associated administration (including risk assessments / method statements)
Oversee works delivery / quality control including site inspections as required.

Terms of employment: Permanent – Full Time

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Skills & Qualifications

Practical damp proofing / timber preservation experience ideal
Will have achieved or working towards CSRT / CSTDB qualification (CSSW an advantage but not essential)
Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
Full driving license for more than 2 years
Valid CSCS card would be an advantage
Be able to pass a full DBS disclosure
