Property Care Conference - 'Early Bird' ticket offer!
The PCA conference always been our flagship event for the industry, a place where we can showcase best practice, share knowledge and expertise and we are excited to share that this year's Property Care conference will be held on 21st September 2023.
Just like the Structural Waterproofing conference, we have introduced our popular “early bird" ticket offering a discounted rate for those who book in early! For PCA members this is just £125.00 per person and £175.00 for non-members, if you book by 21st July. This is incredible value for money and I genuinely feel that you will not find this level of CPD at this price anywhere else.
As we start to finalise the speaker programme we are sure that the remaining tickets will be snapped up over the course of the coming weeks/months, as we provide more detail on each of our speakers, the topics they will be discussing and what you can expect from this year's conference. But to whet your appetite, here is a taster of what we have to look forward to….
What's in store at the conference?
It has ben a busy year in the world of dampness and probably none more so than for the Housing Ombudsman. We are delighted to welcome them back to this year's event to update us on the Housing Ombudsman Report, and share how the responsibilities of the ombudsman have increased following the tragic events in Rochdale.
We will also be looking at damp problems “created by lifestyle”, what this actually means and considering if the balance has swung too far - could the occupants be to blame? The programme will feature discussion on drying techniques following the escape of water, or rainwater penetrating the structure, considering options and best practice.
Building mental health
Similar to recent years, we like to change the tone a little at the end of the conference and this year is no different. We will be moving away from the techy stuff and closing the event with Reverend Kevin Fear, who will be looking at “Building Mental Health”.
I have had the privilege of seeing Kevin present at a number of events and I am delighted that he will be part of our speaker programme - the message he shares is one we should all be paying attention to and really will be one not to miss!
