The Property Care Association is the leading training provider in the UK for building preservation, waterproofing, remedial treatments and invasive weed control.

A wide range of widely recognised courses and qualifications for professionals at all levels of experience and stages of their career are included in the training prospectus. New courses are regularly developed to meet the needs of the industry.

Our training courses are open to all – both PCA members and non-members.  We also deliver training for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Wildlife Trusts and other organisations who can benefit from understanding property care issues in greater depth.

Training is delivered at the PCA premises in Huntingdon, at locations in Scotland and we also offer the option of in-house training delivery.

Where are your courses held?

Unless stated otherwise, all courses and examinations take place at the PCA offices in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, which is centrally located and easily accessible. For car drivers, we are situated just off the junction of the A1 and A14 and by train it is served by an excellent rail link (nearest station Huntingdon – approximately 3 miles away). In 2015 we opened our new Practical Training Centre, also in Huntingdon.  This facility allows us to teach Surveyors and Technicians hands-on skills to complement the academic instruction for which we have become renowned and respected. It is also where all of the formal training elements of our Apprenticeship Programme are delivered.

Training Courses in Scotland are normally held in Stirling, however, this is confirmed nearer the date.

What is your Booking & Cancellation Policy?

Download a booking form to send in to us together with a cheque or, alternatively, phone to book and pay by credit card if preferred. Please note that places for training and examinations require full payment at the time of booking to secure your place. This can be paid by cheque, BACS or credit card.  Please note that payments made by credit card will incur a 2% surcharge. Bookings that are changed or cancelled more than 10 working days before the event, will incur an administration fee of £100 + VAT per course or exam. Cancellations or changes to bookings made less than 10 working days before the event, will incur the full cost of the training course or examination. All cancellations or changes to bookings must be made in writing to the PCA. Click here to download a Booking Form.

What are your Costs & Discounts?

The PCA endeavours to offer cost-effective and value-for-money courses. Members of professional associations including ABI, AIRMIC, AMI, CILA, CIH, CIOB, RIBA, RICS, SPAB and SFHA are eligible for a 10% discount on the cost of PCA training. Please state your entitlement and provide your membership number at the time of booking. Costs include refreshments at all PCA courses and examination days. A lunch is provided on training days, please advise us of any special dietary requirements. Due to timing schedules on examination days, we regret it is not possible to provide lunch so students are asked to make their own arrangements.
