Over the past few weeks, the temperature has significantly dropped, we have experienced heavy rainfall and condensation season is now here. This undoubtedly means that it’s going to be a busy time for us as an industry, so it is essential that we are all up to date with the latest government guidance on dampness, particularly as it provides a useful resource for homeowners and tenants.

#IIWC23 - Meet the speakers for Session 2!

With just 3 weeks to go until the 2023 International Invasive Weed Conference, for those that have seen the programme, you will be aware of the established line-up of renowned speakers. But for session 2 of the conference, who exactly will be presenting? To find out more, read below...

  • Charles Hughes from Canal & Rivers Trust will discuss CRISEP, one of the largest INNS projects delivered on inland waterways within the UK which focuses on managing a number of priority invasive plants on the Trust’s network.
  • Mark Buckingham from Bayer will consider how to combat the arguments of the anti-glyphosate lobby.
  • Finally, Dr Tom Bennett from University of Leeds will present the potential role for copper-containing geotextiles in the control of invasive weeds, showing how they can be deployed to prevent the spread of invasive weeds.

#ISWC23 - Session 3 video presentations

You may have seen that we have been sharing the Structural Waterproofing Conference presentation videos offering hours of high quality CPD over the last few weeks.

This week, we are please to share the final session of video presentations from the conference which include topics such as risk mitigation, the use of PU foam as a water & radon barrier, sprayed waterproof concrete linings and great case studies involving subsidence, underpinning and more. October's webinar rescheduled

For those who joined the webinar on Thursday, due to unforeseen technical circumstances just before the live broadcast, we were unable to present the webinar. We would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.
